Thank you once again to the fabulous and knowledgeable Chantal Hutnam, Pharmacist and Functional Health Practionioner amongst other things, for another health workshop delivered at Affirm Studio. Always enlightening us to ways to lower toxicity in our lives, naturally regulate hormones and use the gifts of nature to enhance our fitness efforts. Affirm supports your health and fitness goals with 2-3 education workshops per year with special guests such as Chantal.

5 Week Run/Walk Challenge

As Covid 19 shut down the Bridge to Brisbane Run this year, we opted for a 5 Week Run/Walk Fitness Challenge. The 2020 Team of fabulous, fitness focused participants, have recently finished their personal challenge to increase their regular weekly exercise. This included our weekly early Sunday waterfront workouts, followed by a walk, or run along the foreshore. Standouts were the location with Waterloo Bay sparkling in the sunrise, the tasty and healthy brekkie treats from Coach Di, inspired by the PH360 Recipes for Health, and those slightly evil choreographed squat tracks for our legs!! No excuses for Fitness!! Proud Coach. Well done to you all! Stay tuned for our next Bayside workout.

Affirm Body Documentary

Early March 2020 saw Coach Di invited to collaborate with film students at Griffith University in the production of a small documentary about fitness for different demographics, namely those over 50. As part of their filming, the students visited the studio and whipped around one of our morning workouts showing how agile the early-birds exercisers are. A big thank you to all involved, Students Skye, Christian, Dani, Nick, and Joanna and Affirm clients Di W, Ron, Di P, Gayle, and Cate for your participation in this documentary.
